Frequently Asked Questions |

What does Cuireadh©
mean?
Pronounced "Keerooch" in
Scottish or "Currah" in Irish, the direct translation is "Invite".

Are printed inserts included?
Yes, printed inserts
with the wording of you choice are included in the price shown.

With the changes in
the way the post office handle letters and parcels, is there anything I should
be aware of?
Definitely a YES!
The criteria for what can be sent using a standard first
class stamp
and what needs to be weighed/measured as a parcel became far more strict in 2006.
As a result, some of my designs which fit neatly into envelopes, cross the
"thickness" threshold for a letter.
We cannot stress enough how important taking this into account is - if you
don't, the result
can be one of two things:
1/ The item is not delivered but instead the recipient
receives a collection notice and a bill to cover the additional postage!
2/ Some sorting offices use machines to check the thickness of an envelope.
This has resulted on one occasion in the invitation embellishments being
damaged.
For more info ask me at the time of your order, or at your local post office or even online at:
"If your item is 100g or less and under 5mm thick, just stick
a stamp on it and post it in any Postbox®,
providing you do not need a certificate of posting."
The above statement was taken from the
linked page on the above logo in Jan 2008.

Can you include the Guest Names
on the inserts?
Yes. Guest names can be included on the printed inserts for a small
additional cost.
Envelopes (or address labels for boxes) can also be provided to
alleviate even more of the 'things to do' list for a Wedding.

Do you have a shop?
No (at least not yet!), I work from home
hence all meetings are by appointment only - arranged either over the
phone,
by email or
face to face at Wedding Exhibition Events.

Can you provide
samples?
Yes, follow the link for
details on how.

For some of your larger designs,
how are they packaged to prevent damage when posted?
For those styles that
require it (e.g. the natural thistles)
the stationery is provided with boxes rather than envelopes - this is included
in the price but if you wanted boxes instead
(for posting overseas etc) I can provide them too at a small additional cost.
In efforts to ensure those that don't come with boxes are protected in the
envelopes
- I posted them in the mail to myself to see what condition they arrived in!

When can I expect my
stationery?
This is dependant on two main things. Firstly the design itself, the more
complex, the longer it will take.
Similarly quantity has a direct impact on time to make your stationery.
In both instances, the sooner you get in touch with Carey, the sooner things can
get moving
and there'll be no need for nail biting as the date for postage approaches!!

There's a problem with
part of your website, what should I do?
Please send an email to
graham@cuireadh.co.uk and he'll fix it and advise you of when the page or
item is available.
