The original Sinamay Thistle design shows a lilac thistle and a leaf hand tied with a paper covered wire bow and layered over a strip of Lilac Sinamay.
Second example shown uses Black Watch tartan but a wide variety of tartans/ribbon colours are available.
Thistles also come in a selection of colours including red, gold, pink, navy and pale blue.
Alternative flowers may also be used to complete the design.
