Sets with a Scottish flavour - Tartans, Clan motifs, Thistles etc

Below you will find a titled list of some of my creations with a brief description and a Price Guide link.

Please remember that the styles and colours shown are examples of what I can and have created,
if you want something that is nothing like anything here or any other supplier,
I'll do my utmost to make what exactly you want - even if you don't even know what it is yourself yet!

Agapanthus© - Tall slimline Design featuring, as the name would suggest, a single Agapanthus flower.
A narrow band of coordinating handmade paper delicately frames the centrepiece.  Available in a selection of colours and other flower variations are possible with some shown.

Alba© - Single Fresh thistle rests elegantly on a raised authentic tartan background. Example shows 'Muted Leslie'.
Most Tartans available. Tartan can also be replaced with a fabric of your choice e.g. to compliment Bridesmaids colours.

Ard-eailley© - Square gatefold card which opens from the centre to reveal the wording. To decorate, a single thistle rests upon layered handmade paper in a colour of your choice. Thistles are also available in a selection of shades and sizes.

Brave Heart© - Taken from an original photograph, this design has a softened image of a wild thistle to give a subtle, almost dreamlike quality. Print colour may be adapted to suit your own requirements. Example shown - purple image on classic cream textured card.

Caledonian Cala© - A striking image of lilies layered over a tartan of your choice creating a design that mixes modern with traditional. Tartan can be changed to any other fabric or why not opt for a different image to tie in with your own flowers.

Celtic Hearts© - Another elegant design with a Scottish flavour. Celtic hearts design hand embossed on a square colour coordinating mount with the edge raised over a ribbon border. Wording e.g. "Wedding Invitation" is also raised. Extensive colour combinations available and a selection of other Celtic/MacKintosh etc motifs.

Celtic Love© - This design has an embossed Celtic Love Knot set on a background of coloured Angel Hair paper
and is finished with the phrase "We're Tying The Knot!" in Celtic Font. This sample uses cream coloured card and Dark Purple Angel Hair paper complete with gold embossing. All colours can be changed to suit Wedding themes and alternate wording is also possible.

Contemporary Thistles© - A modern twist on a traditional theme. Three coloured thistles hand tied in a ribbon or card of your choice and mounted on a skeleton Buddha leaf. Thistles and leaves available in a selection of colours and card colour can be altered to compliment embellishments. Example shown - Red thistles with a red chiffon ribbon on a gold leaf.

Copper Thistle© - A long slimline design featuring a thistle hand embossed onto burnished copper and framed in a coordinating handmade paper.
The same technique can be applied to many styles of image and also on different types of metal to give a wide variety of colour schemes.

Dargavel© - Cream hammered effect card with tartan ribbon of your choice.  Centrally placed is a thistle layered over matching card with a distressed, colour dusted edge. Can be recreated just about any colour and texture of card. Several different colours and sizes of thistle available.

Heritage Thistle© - Hand Embossed thistle in a colour of your choice - extensive selection available - and layered over a delicate "Angel Hair" mount in a complimentary shade. Design can be further embellished with "Wedding Invitation", "Order of Service", "RSVP" etc in either Celtic or Rennie MacKintosh font styles, also hand embossed in your colour choice.

Inspired….© - Loosely based on the works of Art Nouveaux, this design combines frosted lilies on a wire stem with tiny pearls at their centres. MacKintosh style embossed lettering completes an elegant design. Other colour combinations available.

Kione-lettyr © - (New for 2007) The photograph shows several variations of the same design featuring the couples names embossed within a Celtic Knot work border. This can then be layered over a tartan, fabric or ribbon of your choice or kept as the simpler Celtic design. Any font or border style can be created based on your own design if you wish. Extensive colour combinations available.

Love me knot...© - Celtic inspired design based on traditional knot designs. Embossed in a colour of your choice, the design is layered over coordinating ribbon and completed with Celtic style wording.

Mackintosh Heart© - This design has a Scottish flavour and is based on the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. A Hearts and Roses motif is embossed on a square of textured card then raised over a coordinating ribbon. Example shown uses Navy Embossing on White Textured card, finished with Black Watch tartan ribbon. Extensive colour ways are possible and a selection of motifs are available also........or why not design your own?

Modern Thistle© - A single everlasting thistle....with a twist. Bold and eye-catching Celtic-style wording trimmed in a coordinating colour completes the simple, yet stunning design.

Mulberry Twist© - This is a delicate design featuring a single curled stem thistle layered over matching mulberry paper. Colours can be changed to suit any scheme and a huge selection of flowers such as roses, lilies etc are also available.

Rustic Thistle© - This is a striking design with a truly Scottish flavour. A square of tartan is given a frayed edge and used as the background for a single, preserved thistle. These invitations are mailed to guests in a sturdy yet elegant postal box lined with tissue paper in a colour of your choice. Most tartans can be obtained or alternatively fabrics of Bridesmaids  dresses may be matched.

Sinamay Thistle© - The original Sinamay Thistle design shows a lilac thistle and a leaf hand tied with a paper covered wire bow and layered over a strip of Lilac Sinamay. Second example shown uses Black Watch tartan but a wide variety of tartans/ribbon colours are available. Thistles also come in a selection of colours including red, gold, pink, navy and pale blue.  Alternative flowers may also be used to complete the design.

Wild Thistle© - Single everlasting thistle finished with a bow in the colour of your choice. Simple, traditional style.
